What is Anxiety Support Chat?
Anxiety Support Chat is a weekly online messaging/text chat service. No Panic members can discuss anything and everything to do with anxiety, receive support from other members and even share tips. Regular topics include health anxiety, agoraphobia, OCD, social phobia, anxiety at work and how anxiety can affect relationships with partners or wider family.
What does it involve?
Anxiety Support Chat can be accessed on any modern Windows, Apple or Chromebook computer, tablet or mobile phone which has an internet connection. Once you are in your group, you can send and read messages. Members who apply to join Anxiety Support Chat will be provided with instructions on how to join and how to participate.
When is Anxiety Support Chat open?
Monday evenings. New users join Group B, which is open
between 8:00-9:00. They are joined by Group A from 8:10.
Do I have to attend every session?
No. Some users attend regularly, and others attend more occasionally.
How long will I have to wait after applying before I can attend?
There is no waiting list. so you can join the first session after you apply.
If I do not attend a session, can I attend a future session?
Yes if it is your first session, but you will need to request a new invite link, as the link you were sent only lasts a day. Once you are on the server you will not need an invite link if you miss a session after your first session.
How much does it cost?
Anxiety Support Chat is a free service for all No Panic members.
