Volunteering Opportunities for the Disabled
Volunteer With No Panic From Your Own Home
Our volunteer services are run entirely remotely, with volunteers undergoing all training and volunteering duties remotely, usually from the comfort of their home. This makes it ideally suited to those with physical disabilities and a desire to help, and for those who may find it difficult to undertake other in situ volunteering opportunities.
Why Volunteer With No Panic?
Volunteering with No Panic provides a fulfilling way to help others while gaining valuable experience and skills. Our helpline volunteers play a crucial role in offering support to individuals facing anxiety disorders such as OCD, Panic Disorder, Phobias, and General Anxiety Disorder. Many of our callers feel hopeless and let down by mainstream mental health services, and your empathetic support can make a significant difference in their lives.

- Comprehensive Training and Support: Our initial training program lasts for eight weeks and is conducted entirely over the phone. You will continue to receive support through bi-monthly support group meetings, ensuring you are well-equipped to help those in need.

Volunteering when you receive benefits such as ESA and PIP
Volunteering shouldn’t affect your right to benefits, provided you continue to meet all the conditions of your benefit.
The Citizens Advice Bureau provides more information about receiving benefits while volunteering. It may also be advisable to talk to your local authority or the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) depending on your specific situation.
